Stress Electrocardiogram (ECG)
 

When we test your heart, while you are at rest, only the most severe disturbances will be recorded. The early detection of disturbances, in time to give sufficient warning for early treatment, requires testing while under physical stress of light exercise. This often reveals unsuspected heart disease in people 30-45 years of age.

In this center, when a stress ECG is indicated, we use a Masters 2-step test to evaluate your heart rate. An ECG is then taken to compare with your resting ECG to determine the effect of physical stress on your heart.
