Complete Blood Work

 

This panel includes the traditional blood count for anemia, infections, etc. In addition, a very comprehensive panel of specialized screening tests which reveal many subtle, early biochemical defects in included. These may disclose poor function of the liver due to hepatitis, or liver damage from poisons in our environment, such as toxic chemicals. Also, gout as well as diabetes, thyroid disorders, or kidneys problems may be discovered. Furthermore, due to the apparent relationship of certain blood fats to arteriosclerosis, the cholesterol, triglycerides and total blood lipids are measured

 

Most blood chemistry profiles are composed of only 12 to 20 different measurements. Many of the blood profiles done at Oklahoma Health and wellness Center contain from 80 to over 100 different measurements of intermediate products of metabolism. These values are subject to multiple calculations, studying the relationship of one measurement to another.
